Lunes, 6 de abril. "Las discusiones". Summary in English and question to answer.

Miguel began to clean and tidy his room. His mother was happy, so the room will be ready when Miguel leaves and she rents it out. The boy insists that he is not going to leave. The mother reminds him that she is the boss and she decides. Miguel's father comes home from work and automatically asks what his son has broken today. Miguel explains that his mother has fired him. Her father tells him that he already knows, that Miguel has been given too many opportunities. Miguel asks to be punished like the other children, but his father answers him with a list of arguments and explanations about all the bad things Miguel has done. The list is very long. Miguel decides to change. He has a month to behave well.

Domingo 5 de abril. "Pimer contacto". Summary in English and question to answer.

Miguel thought it was a joke. He left his room and went to see his mother, who was ironing. The mother told him it was not a joke. He told her that she could not fire him and she replied that he gave her thirty days to leave, as is done in jobs. The mother did not want to argue. She said she was going crazy because of Miguel. Miguel insisted that he could not be fired because he was not of legal age and his mother told him to find a lawyer, that this was not easy for her, that she also had her rights and that, for her, the behavior of the child was a form of torture. Miguel told him that he had not signed any contract at birth and therefore that contract could not be terminated. His mother told him that he had not fulfilled his part of the contract and that the dismissal was non-negotiable. Miguel did not want to believe what was happening, but he began to doubt everything.

Sábado 4 de abril. "La carta". Summary in English and question to answer.

Miguel's mother could not enter the room. Clothes were everywhere. Miguel thought his mother would scold him. But his mother said nothing. It was very strange. His mother gave him an envelope and made him sign an acknowledgment of receipt. It looked like a game, but Miguel's mother didn't usually play. Miguel began to think what signature to do. He signed and opened the envelope. Inside was a sheet of paper on which his parents told him that they gave him thirty days to leave home. Until then he would have the right to kisses and caresses, to have his room, three meals a day and everything he deserved as a son. But later, for bad behavior, he was fired.
